Extension Educational Activities among Marginal & Small Land holding Tribal Farmers

Facilitator for agricultural advisory services to the 3000 registered marginal and small land holding tribal farmers of 105 villages in four districts of Meghalaya state in North-East India (2012- 2014) through m4agriNEI project. Combination of advanced ICT tools (Smart phone, web portal, IVRS etc.) and conventional extension methods (face-face meetings, awareness meetings, Group discussions, demonstrations, expert field visit, exhibitions etc.) were used.
2. Facilitator for agricultural advisory services to the 2500 registered marginal and small land holding tribal farmers of 143 villages through e-Village and e-AgriKiosk projects (2008-12) in Arunachal Pradesh State of North-East India.
3. Facilitator for agricultural advisory services to the 500 registered marginal and small land holding tribal farmers of 12 villages through e-Arik project (2007-09).
4. Convener of Block level Kissan Mela (June, 2009) as an integral part of RHWE programme
5. Co-ordinator for Group discussion and awareness meetings demonstrations through e-Arik project (May, 2007 onwards)
6. Facilitator for Farmers’ Training Programmes, Group Meetings, Demonstrations (2002 onwards)
7. Programme Officer to conduct training programmes and demonstrations to extension personnel and farmers under the central scheme on technology mission for integrated development of Horticulture in North Eastern Region, India (2006).
8. Co-convener of State level Kissan Mela (November, 2006)
9. Organizer for Regular farmers training and demonstrations through e-Arik project, RHWE Program and other research projects since 2002.
